    Description

    Turner Lovel are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer, to work with a major global engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firm, specialising in renewable energy and electricity transmission projects.

    This leading company has recently secured multiple high-profile contracts worldwide to support energy transition initiatives and is rapidly expanding its team to meet the increasing workload.

    In this crucial role, the ideal candidate will work on tenders, bids, and projects involving High Voltage AC and DC substations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conducting and participating in cyber security engineering design, requirements and specification reviews.
    • Designing and maintaining formal and informal cyber security documentation throughout the product development lifecycle.
    • Providing guidance and developing detailed test plans to verify cyber security functions.
    • Advising on the configuration of cyber security devices such as switches, servers, and jump boxes.
    • Performing cyber security unit and integration testing activities.
    • Supporting overall testing efforts.
    • Adhering to established delivery and quality assurance processes.

    Qualifications:

    • A bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline such as Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer/Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
    • Demonstrated professional experience in securing projects, with a strong preference for exposure to operational technology (OT) environments.
    • Proven expertise in industrial communication network security protocols and standards, with a comprehensive grasp of frameworks like IEC 62443.
    • Comprehensive familiarity with the NIST Cyber Security Framework, enabling the application of industry-leading security practices.
    • Proficient knowledge of NERC CIP standards, reflecting a commitment to adhering to critical infrastructure protection regulations.
    • Previous experience maintaining the Security Assurance Plan (SAP) for projects
