Please be advised that this role will involve travel throughout the UK at least 6-10 working days a month


As a UK Sales Manager your role will be to ensure every pocket of the UK has a well a supported, engaged and growth focused presence.

My clients coverage is strong but they want to ensure that it is omnipresent and well supported from the highest spendersholding stock for UK's biggest accounts to the smaller regular spenders who serve just their local district of which there are plenty.

Your role will be split into 2 key areas;

New Business Development Tasks

  • Identify, prospect and convert new accounts on a monthly basis
  • Ensure new accounts convert into weekly/monthly spenders
  • Consistently record and review new prospects/opportunities with wider sales team

Quarterly Account Management Tasks

  • Assigned Accounts to get Quarterly calls and/or face to face visits
  • Identify and recategorize account potential
  • Update CRM with log of calls and actions
  • Showcase and crosssell new or unaware products from their range to increase wallet share

Other Key Tasks of the UK Sales Manager will also include but are not exhaustive of;

  • Help plan and implement new product launches.
  • Work closely with the customer service team along with their partners.
  • Identifying of opportunities to migrate their existing partners to a more streamlined form of ordering.
  • Ensure new accounts are put on suitable terms and set up review periods with clearly set out expectations of levels of business.
  • Through communication with their partners help to evaluate any potential for additional content or support. Help with the production of these materials through collaborating with the relevant inhouse personnel & departments.
  • Keep up to date pertinent records within internal CRM systems.
  • Report to management where appropriate
  • Keep abreast of their competitor's news and communication record and report where appropriate.
  • Attend relevant trade shows and events
The role of a UK Sales Manager will in the main be to evaluate, grow and open new accounts. Building strong positive relationships with all customers.


By combining your customer, marketplace and product knowledge you will work with Head of Sales to evaluate the best opportunities and areas of growth and plan accordingly for these.


They're looking for someone who:

Will build on an excellent base of existing partners.

Is able to actively identify new prospect accounts, evaluate, visit and close into a spending customer.

Being able to communicate effectively with all levels of businesses and their owners/employees.


Identify positive future working relationships and set out goals and expectations of both the new partners and also those of the company.

Deal with queries efficiently with a positive attitude.

Work closely with other areas of the business to ensure that customer's needs expectations can be met.


Be a key member of the sales team in the launch of a new product range to help ensure the best possible market penetration by identifying and acting upon leads and opportunities.


Identifying marketing needs of their customer base and liaising with other relevant members of the team and departments to produce effective marketing materials.
