    *£24, £24,683.40 PA + £ additional sleep in allowance (Based on 10 sleep ins per month) = *£32,565.60 – £33,192 (Based on full time)
    • £11.80 per hour (Qualified)
    • £11.50 per hour (Unqualified)
    • Sleeps: £71.28 per night (Based on 10 per month)
    • Static rota pattern.

    Job Description:
    We are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Residential Childcare Workers to join our team.

    As a growing provider of residential care services for children in the United Kingdom, we are dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential.

    Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check clearance. A valid driver's license may be required for certain positions.

    Responsibilities:


    Provide direct care and support to children residing in our residential care homes. Develop and maintain positive and meaningful relationships with the children, promoting their emotional well-being and personal development. Implement and adhere to individual care plans, ensuring each child's specific needs are met. Create a safe and supportive environment, maintaining a high level of safeguarding and child protection. Collaborate with other team members, including social workers and healthcare professionals, to provide holistic care and support for the children. Act as a positive role model for the children, encouraging their engagement in educational, recreational, and social activities. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including incident reports, progress notes, and other necessary documentation. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.


    Qualifications:
    NVQ / QCF Level 3 desirable but not essential - must hold within 2 years.
    • Training provided.Experience:
    • No experience required as you will be supported and trained as you commence your journey in working with Children and Young people.
    • Ability to learn and want to learn the role.
    • The ability to research the role and use research to better understand the role and requirements.
    • Understanding of safeguarding is desired.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Compassionate and patient nature, with the ability to build rapport and establish trusting relationships with children.
