    Description

    Our client is one of the UK's leading manufacturers and distributors of E-Liquids, supplying to countries all over the world. They are recruiting for Business Development Managers to join their growing team.

    Working: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

    Basic salary: £26k - £28k DOE plus uncapped commission

    Location: Office based in Lincoln.

    Job purpose:

    As the Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in the company's growth strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and pursue new business opportunities, build strong relationships with potential customers, and convert them into clients.

    Responsibilities:

    • Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
    • Seek out the appropriate contact and decision maker in an organisation.
    • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
    • Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone.
    • Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients.
    • Think strategically -seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business.
    • Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes.
    • Have a good understanding of the businesses' products and services.
    • Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.

    Skills and experience:

    • Proven track record of success in B2B sales
    • Proven track record of working with FMCG
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels.
    • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
    • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to overcome objections and secure new business.
    • Ability to analyse market trends and identify opportunities for growth.
    • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
