University Hospitals Birmingham has opened its doors to a brand new treatment centre adjacent to its Heartlands Hospital location in Bordesley Green B9.

The new Ambulatory Care and Diagnostics Centre (ACAD) will represent a multi-million pound investment in services at Heartlands Hospital, which will benefit patients, staff and local communities.

To support this, we have created a number of new opportunities to join this team in providing the best levels of hygiene across our hospital.

We have a variety of permanent contracts available to include:

Evenings:4-8pm

Lates - 4pm-10pm/ 8pm-2am/4pm-12am

As a key member of this vital team you will be charged with all aspects of cleaning within wards, communal areas and consultation rooms.

This will include; infection control and quality assurance.

This critical role is key to the safety and well being of our patients and team members.

Ideally you will have experience within a cleaning/housekeeping or a hygiene based role where you have worked to deadlines and within set guidelines.

You will need high attention to detail with the ability to follow instruction with little supervision.

In return, you can expect a permanent contract which offers shift enhancement for nights and weekends along with a public sector pension, uniform and more.
