My Client in Southport are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Human Resources Assistant.
As a Human Resources Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of various HR functions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about human resources and wants to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.
Duties- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
- Conduct new employee orientations and assist with onboarding processes
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems
- Support employee relations efforts by responding to employee inquiries and providing general HR information
- Assist with HR projects such as performance management, employee engagement initiatives, and training programs
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, interviews, and trainings
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in using HR software systems such as Salesforce, Taleo, Workday, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks
- Basic knowledge of human resources principles and practices
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus
- Familiarity with social media management for recruitment purposes is a plus
8am-16.30pm monday - friday
Job Type:
Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months
Salary:
£25,000.00 per year
