    Position Overview:

    As a Data Engineer you will play a pivotal role in the success of their ground-breaking data science project. You will work closely with the firms data scientists and analysts to design, build, and maintain the data infrastructure required for advanced analytics and machine learning. This is a contract position with an immediate start date, offering you the opportunity to make an impact and be part of a high-impact team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
    • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouses.
    • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
    • Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and scalability.
    • Implement security measures to protect sensitive data.
    • Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide technical support as needed.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
    • Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong track record of designing and implementing data solutions.
    • Proficiency in programming language Python.
    • Expertise in SQL and database management systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL databases).
    • Experince with AWS
    • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
