We have an exciting opportunity for an Executive Director of Strategy & Transformation to join our amazing team.

This role is based at Gilwell Park, Chingford, E4 7QW (Hybrid with some office based days and some travel in the UK).

Salary:
£116,000 - £120,000 per annum


As we continue to work through our ambitious Skills for Life Agenda, we have restructured the Executive Leadership Team and are excited to advertise this new role to further strengthen our strategy development & our transformation function.

The ExecutiveDirector of Strategy and Transformation will be focused on strategic planning but also overseeing progress with the delivery of our objectives through our programmes of work which are focused on performance and impact.

The role also has lead responsibilityfor our ambitious EDI agenda.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Contributing to the successful strategic and operational functioning of the organisation as a full member of the Executive Leadership Team
  • Designing and leading an approach for the design and development of a new organisational strategy in line with our theory of change
  • Leading on EDI
  • Collaborating closely with the Executive Director of Operation and our UKHQ volunteers s across all aspects of the role
  • Designing and leading the transformation agenda to successfully deliver agreed programmes and projects to improve young people's and adults' experience of the Movement and make Scouting easier to operate locally
  • Overseeing the successful development and delivery of the organisation's digital transformation, including data and insights

What we are looking for:


  • Substantial experience of successful senior strategic leadership in a complex, valuesdriven organisation
  • An advocate for difference and diversity who is credible with a range of internal and external audiences
  • Knowledge of the theory and practice of organisational development and design of strategic planning
  • The ability to manage largescale teams and budgets effectively
