Social Media Executive

Location:
Gateshead - Hybrid Working

Salary:
£20k - £25k


Our client is a global leading, specialist manufacturer based in the North of England who is looking for a talented and experienced Social Media Executive to join their team.


Reporting to the Head of PR & Influencer Marketing, you will be responsible for:

  • Influencer outreach, looking after the macro-influencers that we work with. This will include researching influencers, making contact, relationship building and keeping our databases up to date.
  • Making a contribution towards creative thinking and strategy. Bringing ideas to the table and contributing to brainstorming session.
  • Content creation on all of the main social media channels including TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram & Twitter. Working with the design team to create graphics. A/B testing. Scheduling content and managing reporting tools.
  • Deputising for the Head of PR, Social and Influencer Marketing, covering holidays and holding the fort when necessary.


You will work closely and collaboratively with the marketing team's product managers, content specialists and graphic designers throughout the U.K.

and Europe.


Skills and Experience:


  • Knowledge of all the main social media channels (TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram & Twitter)
  • Experience in content creation. Any experience in influencer marketing would be advantageous but not essential.
  • An eye for current trends specifically trending sounds and themes.
  • Bold ideas and be brave enough to bring them to table.
  • Great communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills including internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
