    Rev & Regs are recruiting for a Prudential Risk Manager role for a dynamic and well-established Bank.

    Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, the Prudential Risk Manager will work closely with the Finance Department to develop core risk capabilities and develop, implement and embed the Risk Management Framework.

    This is a hybrid role (1 day per week in office) based in Maidstone, Kent. Excellent work life balance with no expectations to work over 35 hours per week.

    Responsibilities:

    • Working closely with the Head of Risk to implement and embed the risk management framework to ensure the Finance Department are managing and reporting on their financial and prudential risks faced by the Bank.
    • Ensure that Finance develop metrics and analysis of their risk data to provide insights.
    • Develop and undertake thematic reviews of key risk areas.
    • Assess the control environment to ensure the systems, processes and tools used within Finance remain effective and provide a 2LOD opinion.
    • Lead the 2LOD review and oversight of the ICAAP and ILAAP.
    • Lead the annual review and update of the Recovery Plan, Resolution Framework and Wind Down plan.

    Experience required:

    • Experience of working in a financial services firm with experience of treasury, prudential and model risk.
    • A self-motivated individual with an eye for detail.
    • Someone comfortable working across a number of different stakeholders such as liaising with external regulators or executive team.
    • Having a commercial and problem-solving focus.
    • Up to date regulatory and legislative knowledge across areas of responsibility.
    • Active in supporting the Bank in embracing good customer outcomes and embedding the Conduct Risk Framework.
