    M&A Associate

    Finatal are currently partnered with a private equity-backed Financial Services business undergoing a highly aggressive buy-and-build strategy.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive FDD on potential acquisition targets, analysing financial statements, historical performance, and key metrics.
    • Prepare detailed FDD reports highlighting findings, risks, and opportunities to inform decision-making.
    • Assist in offer negotiations and deal structuring, ensuring alignment with the business' investment criteria and objectives.
    • Conduct valuations using various methodologies to assess target companies' worth and determine appropriate pricing.
    • Manage relationships with vendors throughout the M&A process.
    • Draft and negotiate the SPA, ensuring terms and conditions accurately reflect deal agreements and protect our interests.
    • Analyse earnout structures and performance metrics post-deal to assess achievement and facilitate resolution.
    • Support senior management in strategic decision-making and provide ad-hoc analysis and research as needed.

    Requirements:

    • Experience within a transaction Services team (doing Financial Due Diligence) at a reputable accountancy firm.
