    About The Role

    We are currently recruiting for a Sonographer to join us at Practice Plus Group Hospital Southampton

    The successful post holder will ideally work within the hours of 8am to 6pm, with a minimum of 2 x 9.5 hour shifts). Days are flexible and can be changed from week to week. We will consider 4 days every fortnight, as a pose to weekly, if that suits you better, or 3 shorter shifts each week.

    We can incorporate a weekend day into their schedule if that also works for you. this role will have the possibility of additional hours and would never require working on a Sunday.

    As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will produce a high standard of ultrasonography practice. This will include undertaking a broad range of techniques while being flexible in adapting to the requirements of all patients and examination scenarios.

      What you'll be doing

      Our Sonographers enjoy a challenging yet balanced and steady workload with no Paediatric or Obstetric patients. The standard case mix covers the majority of MSK and general surgery scans, alongside some Gynae and Urology. DVT scans are ideal but not essential.

      What we'll look for in you

      You will be:
      • HCPC registered Radiographer with a diploma in medical ultrasound and experience in a broad range of ultrasonography competencies.
      • Able to do MSK and you will need to have extensive UK experience.
      • Have an ability to work autonomously and experience of independent reporting is essential in this role.
      • Be able to manage in a fast paced environment while maintaining the ability to produce high quality images and succinct and accurate reporting.
