- Using AutoCAD to design a range of highways and public realm schemes
- Working in conjunction with the lead engineers and project managers to deliver the schemes on time and within budget
- Developing concepts and feasibility studies for traffic and transport improvement related schemes
- Ensuring all designs meet the standards and are compliant with the DMRB and the Manual for Streets and Local Authority Design Guides

Description
An opportunity has arisen for a Highways/Traffic Technician with experience in AutoCAD Design to join a client in London.
Your main duties include designing and delivering a variety of highway andpublic realm related schemes including cycling lanes, pedestrian walkways, active travel and sustainable transport programmes as well as junction improvements and development related infrastructure.
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £28 - £32 per hour - negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible working arrangements are available.Working within the Highways team your main duties include:
