    The Head of Global Technology Platforms is responsible for ensuring the uninterrupted uptime of all critical Business Systems, Platforms, and Infrastructure across the Global Brambles Enterprise.

    They are the orchestrator of day-to-day operational excellence for global Technology Services, planning and maintaining resilient and secure hosting platforms (Edge and Cloud), network and connectivity platforms, end user technology platforms and collaboration services, end user support and comprehensive IT Service Management practices.

    Own and oversee the complete uptime of all critical Business Platforms and Products as well as Technology Platforms across the Global Brambles Enterprise Networks.

    Develop agreed SLA's / OLA's for stability and availability for all critical Business Platforms and Products as well as Technology Platforms across the Global Brambles Enterprise.

    Manage the day-to-day operational delivery of our global Technology Services (TS)

    Services provided by both internal and external service providers and support the requirements of I&T users to maintain the Brambles "run" capability of a global function covering:

    Identity and Access Management platforms operations in support of Cyber and Systems usage policies including AD Infrastructure, MFA, SSO.

    Network and connectivity infrastructure and Services including WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, OT Connectivity.
    Network security including firewall platforms and firewall management across all Brambles direct and 3rd Party sites.
    End User Technologies including PCs, Mobiles, VDI, Audio & Video.
    Collaboration services including Email, Teams, SharePoint, O365.
    IT Service Desk.
    Develop and provide IT Service Management including Incident Management (incl. Major Incident Management), Problem Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, Service Design, Service Setup, Service Transition Management, etc.

    Where required and agreed ensure TS can provide round the clock extended hours operational services, standardised globally with measured and appropriate key performance indicators and appropriate service levels with internal and external suppliers.

    Establish, drive and be accountable for the IT Service Management, Technology platform strategies for IT Infrastructure and End User Technologies , that is part and underpins the wider Brambles I&T Strategy, whilst sustaining quality of service to these defined levels and bringing the current disparate regional support and delivery model into an agreed federated / Global delivery structure.

    - Establish an IT Service Management function covering all critical ITIL and SIAM practices, including but not limited to Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, Service Transition, Knowledge Management underpinned by a fit for purpose CMDB.

    Improve and ensure agility, scalability, and supportability in the provision of technology and services in support of digital business services to enable our core business to respond to our market demand.

    Build the subject matter expertise within the function and organise resources into effective Service towers and approved projects whilst maintaining operational coverage and efficiency.

    Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or a related field.

    Master's degree is a plus.
    Relevant certifications in ITIL, IT governance, or related areas are highly desirable.

    Extensive and progressive experience in IT leadership roles, with a focus on Technology Platforms and Integration.
    Proven track record in managing large scale Service driven IT Operations.
    In-depth knowledge of IT governance frameworks, ITIL, and industry best practices.
