We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time corporate receptionist to work in a recently refurbished wonderful grade II listed office building.

Ideally located between two of the city's most popular business districts, St Peters Square and Spinningfields, the building is a short walk from St Peters Square Metro link and Manchester Piccadilly.


You will 'own' the ground floor reception, taking pride in managing every visitor's journey, ensuring an exemplary level of customer service is delivered, with the ultimate aim of leaving a lasting impression.


You will liaise with letting agents and prepare the building for viewings, working seamlessly with the teams on the ground to ensure a first-class viewing experience.

As companies start to move in you will naturally welcome incoming occupiers, helping to curate a 'building community'


Hours 9.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday
(Note - working hours are likely to increase when companies move in)


Salary - £25,584 pa

Start - beg April

Key Responsibilities

_Managing reception_

  • Manage and take ownership of the reception area to ensure the ambiance reflects the clients' expectations
  • Responsible for delivering an exceptional meet and greet service, ensuring a warm, friendly and professional welcome
  • Sign in all visitors to the building following appropriate reception processes
  • Efficiently manage deliveries including couriers and post

_The Building_

  • You will support the sales and leasing agents, working collaboratively to promote the Building/Park and vacant office space. You will prepare for viewings or tours by ensuring space is looking pristine and ensure a hospitable welcome to potential occupiers.
  • Confidently manage maintenance contractors and ensure building issues are reported and managed to resolution. This will include communication with the Facilities Manager
  • Produce a weekly report for key stakeholders

_Concierge initiatives_

  • Research, develop, manage and promote (when applicable) and deliver a structured events/concierge programme aimed at delivering a community vibe and offering activities to increase enjoyment during the working day. This may include weekly exercise classes, larger seasonal events and popup activity
  • You will develop a newsletter (when appropriate) for tenants.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • You have a vibrant personality and a cando attitude to own and front this highend reception area
  • You must be proficient at delivering a highend 'meet and greet' service, working efficiently and professionally at all times
  • You have excellent verbal / written communication skills
  • You are Mac/PC literate and proficient in Microsoft Office and related software packages.
