Description

We are recruiting a Metal Shop Stores Operative for a full time permanent position in Gillingham. Ideally you will have certificates (Counterbalance and reach) as you will be working in the Infill section. If you have previous cerficates refreshers can be done.

Shift Pattern
Monday to Friday
2pm until 10pm

Main Duties and Responsibilities;

To receive, check, and sign off suppliers deliveries.
To define damages / discrepancies and report as necessary.
Inspect and use MHE in a safe and proficient manner at all times.
Check and suitably label received goods before storage.
Adhere to correct stock rotation.
Pick, pack, wrap, label and palletise goods for production.
To ensure workplace is kept clean and tidy at all times.
Report any damages to a supervisor.
Loading steel gas bottles onto link vehicles.
Responsible for next day shortages.
Follow all Quality Control guidelines set by the Company.
Follow the requirements of the Company's ISO Procedures.
Follow the Company's Health and Safety Policy, work instructions & safe systems of work.
