Description
My client, a LGPS, is looking to recruit a Pensions Officer to join their growing team.

They operate one of the largest funds in the UK and are responsible for managing and administering their members and scheme employers pension interest.

They are a verysupportive company who actively encourage career progression.


On a day to day basis you will be talking to pension scheme members and working in collaboration with the Pensions Team Leader to support the day to day management of the teams workload.


You will also be involved in the following:

  • Assist with outstanding data requests and current data queries
  • Processing and authorising deferment (early leaver) benefits, calculating funds & processing Transfers for members
  • Work to to targets and contribute to KPI's for the team
  • Processing and validating all amendments to a member's record that result from changes in employment and personal circumstances
  • Correspondence with members and scheme employers
Ideally you will have pensions experience, confidence in communicating at all levels, great mathematical and technical skills.
