Our client is a machinery dealer and service provider, they specialise in the sales, hire, and servicing of a wide range of agricultural, horticultural, and construction machinery.

With a team of experienced and knowledgeable technicians, they are able to provide expert advice and solutions to their customers.

They also offer a comprehensive range of spare parts and accessories to ensure their customers' machinery operates at its best.

Our client is committed to providing high-quality products and services to their clients and maintaining a strong reputation in the industry.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:30pm. With two Saturday mornings per month, 7:00am - 12:30pm.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform repairs, maintenance, and servicing of a wide range of agricultural and construction machinery and equipment
  • Conduct regular inspections and faultfinding to diagnose issues and troubleshoot problems
  • Ensure all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Order and replace necessary parts, components, and materials as required
  • Complete accurate service and maintenance records to ensure compliance with all legal requirements
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Keep up to date with the latest machinery technologies and techniques to ensure the best possible service is provided to customers

Requirements:


  • Previous experience as a Plant Fitter, ideally with experience working on both agricultural and construction machinery
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanical engineering, plant maintenance, or a related field
  • Strong technical knowledge and diagnostic skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to health and safety practices

Job Types:

Salary:
£45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
