    We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Subject Lead to drive the strategic direction and development of our Business Department. The successful educator will be responsible for leading a team of passionate educators, designing a rigorous and relevant curriculum, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the department. This is an exciting opportunity for a visionary leader to shape the future of business education and inspire the next generation of business leaders in an academy in North West Bristol

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead, mentor, and support a team of business educators, fostering collaboration, professional growth, and a positive working environment.
    • Design and implement a dynamic and engaging curriculum that integrates real-world applications, critical thinking skills, and ethical decision-making.
    • Monitor and assess student progress and outcomes, implementing data-driven strategies to support student achievement and growth.
    • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to promote interdisciplinary learning opportunities and enhance the overall educational experience for students.
    • Cultivate partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and industry leaders to provide students with authentic learning experiences and opportunities for career exploration.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics and Qualified Teacher Status
    • Proven experience teaching business courses at the secondary level, with a track record of student achievement and engagement.
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated commitment to professional development and staying current with developments in the field of business education.
