Building Surveyor (Disrepair) - Housing Association - About The Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a Merseyside based housing association who are looking to appoint a Building Surveyor (Disrepair) on a 12 month fixed term contract.

The role offers a salary of £38,295 per annum plus mileage.

Building Surveyor (Disrepair) - Housing Association - About The Role:

To use specialist professional expertise and knowledge to provide a building pathology assessment of defects to specify and rectify faults
To lead the delivery of a highly professional service focusing on actively managing disrepair, fire damaged properties, insurance claims and building surveys including structural works, damp and condensation across the property portfolio
To contribute to the collection and storage of component data by completing a wide range of technical surveys, stock condition, domestic energy assessments, HHSRS and asbestos validation, management and refurbishment surveys
To lead on the provision of specialist advice and the selection, appointment, retention and fees for specialist contractors

Building Surveyor (Disrepair) - Housing Association - What You Need:

Level 4 qualification in Chartered Surveying or equivalent
Must hold full current driving license
Able to demonstrate a significant knowledge of building disrepair through extensive and relevant experience
Member of the CIOB and/ or RICS or able to demonstrate an equivalent level of knowledge gained through extensive and relevant experience within the construction industry
