WHO ARE THEY...

Our client are within the Oil & Gas industry, located in the beautiful coastal area of Pembrokeshire, and are currently seeking a Electrical Engineer to join their Technical Services Department.

Electrical Engineer Pembrokeshire Permanent Position Company benefits DUTIES ...Approve Engineering designs and provide specialist support for the Electrical elements within all projects.

Working knowledge of Industry standards associated with the Electrical discipline. Develop ideas into projects and produce BOD (basis of design) work scopes. Attend external organisation meetings – EEMUA, Energy Institute and IET and feedback any changes in legislation.

Actively engage WITH SMEs and peers across the industry and the company network Ensure the safety and reliability of the electrical distribution network for the refinery.

Maintain condition reviews for all Electrical infrastructure and equipment on site, interpret the data and produce ranking for input into the CAPEX replacement plan.

Manipulate Electrical Infrastructure Modelling software. Provide specialist Electrical support to the refinery operations, maintenance and improvement teams when required.

ABOUT YOU...CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS BSc/BEng degree in Electrical Engineering Have or be working towards incorporated or chartered engineer status with a relevant engineering institution.

Experience working with voltages up to 132kv. Previous experience of working in an Electrical Engineering or Project Engineering role would be advantageous. Good organisational and communication skills working with and leading multi-functional teams both inside and outside of the refinery.

Proficient in the MS suite of software and familiar with SAP functionality within the job role i.e purchase requisitions, SAP new equipment master management etc.
