A fantastic opportunity to deliver great digital content that generates engagement and excitement, you will lead the digital production team at one of the UK's largest live broadcasters.

THE COMPANY:

Our client is a global broadcaster of live sporting events.

THE ROLE:

As Digital Producer, you will be responsible for leading the digital production team and helping transform the company's approach to digital delivery.

Along with providing day-to-day direction, and working alongside the broadcast team, you will be shaping and implementing an expansion of digital operations.

Key responsibilities:

To drive the transformation of digital content through innovation and expansion into new areas and across a wider range of platforms.
Oversee operational management of Digital Output Services team, optimising structures and workflows to maximise quality of delivery
Prioritise and manage daytoday tasks among the team, responding to requests from across the business and partners.
Develop key relationships with senior Broadcast management and production staff to keep digital demands at the forefront of every conversation
Support commercial objectives set by Head of Digital as part of wider B2C digital goals
To lead, develop and manage the team ensuring that each individual is performing at the optimum level and that the team as a whole function effectively
To assist with managing budgets within your area of responsibility including monitoring spend and taking and necessary remedial actions in order to keep costs controlled at all times.

THE PERSON:

You will need to be able to demonstrate relevant training or demonstrable equivalent experience in editing and producing broadcast-quality content.

This means you will need to have a strong working knowledge and understanding of latest production techniques including Adobe video productions tools and EVS.

It is important that you have strong technical skills, including using relevant media management systems.

Lastly, acceptance of the 7-day/week nature of the broadcast industry, meaning that working at weekends and some other out-of-hours' time may be required.
