    Role

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced SEO & Content lead to join our team. The role comes with the responsibility of looking after a small group of websites, which operate within English & German speaking markets. The right candidate will therefore have experience owning the day to day responsibilities that come with growing a website through organic search.

    As a growing company, the responsibilities will be varied, and this role will be right for you if you are able to work at a strategic level in SEO and you aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into the day-to-day execution. As this is a senior role, you must be proactive, decisive, and comfortable working autonomously.

    Key accountabilities:

    • Ownership of SEO & Content revenue & ranking performance across our brands
    • Planning, creating and delivering upon SEO & content strategies to meet agreed objectives and KPIs
    • Strategising, planning & delivering upon content plans across English & International markets
    • Strategising, planning & delivering upon link building plans across English & International markets
    • Strategising, planning & delivering upon product initiatives to grow site performance
    • Management & hiring of freelance content editors & producers, ensuring work is delivered on time and at the required quality
    • Management & hiring of external & internal link building operations.
    • Optimising site content; both on an individual page basis, as well as considering and understanding how to utilise a website as a whole to harness greater rankings
    • Conducting technical audits across our portfolio and making recommendations to ensure optimal performance
    • Reporting on the performance of the websites in line with KPIs

    Requirements

    • 4+ years experience in a dedicated SEO role
    • A solid understanding of SEO and demonstrable success delivering SEO campaigns
    • Deep understanding of the SEO process, including on page and off page
    • Ability to work autonomously and own projects from start to finish
    • Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise and manage a large workload
    • Knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Analytics / SEMrush / Ahrefs / Majestic SEO / Screaming Frog / Supermetrics
    • Great communicator of critical information

    Desirables

    • Experience in affiliate marketing desirable
    • Google Sheets proficiency
    • Knowledge in SEO automation principles (Python, formulas, APIs etc)
    • Experience with website analytics
