    About the role:


    As the Senior Accountant you will embrace the Firm's vision, mission and values and be a leader in digital adoption, strategy, and implementation.

    You will have a variety of responsibilities varying from business development, task management and training.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Management of a portfolio of client covering partnerships, limited companies, and standalone tax returns, reporting directly to Partners
    Assist with work planning across the team
    Working within budgets and timeframes set
    Involvement in the recruitment and development of staff
    Ensuring accounts quality is met and continually developed in line with regulatory and internal requirements
    Carrying out and reviewing accounting and tax work carried out by others, including complex special work
    Ensuring the efficient use of appropriate software packages internally and supporting clients' accounting systems
    Maintain an understanding of client's business
    Undertake internal training
    Ability to spot opportunities to sell wide range of Larking Gowen services
    Involvement in office marketing events
    Consistently achieve deadlines
    Proactively identify training requirements to assist with personal development
    Ensure compliance with all CPD requirements

    About you:


    You will be ACA or ACCA qualified with the ability to manage a client portfolio and post qualified experience within practice.

    You will be adaptable, deadline-driven and have experience of reviewing accounts and tax returns, as well as providing feedback to members of staff.

    Cloud software product knowledge is also desirable. Additionally, the preferred candidates will have excellent communication skills and always deliver excellent client service.
