Some of your key accountabilities will be:

To develop and implement the strategic direction for supplier performance, terms compliance and cost management working with managers at Severn Trent
To identify and create value through the management of supplier relationships and contract performance though regular performance reviews & management of contract MI, SLA and KPI measures
To support the onboarding of new suppliers to make sure they have the right competencies and capacity to deliver works efficiently, effectively, and safely
To develop, own and implement the strategic direction for supplier performance, contractual compliance and cost management in consultation with stakeholders in the Supply Pipes Team
Establish and demonstrate best practice commercial expertise
To support the Procurement Senior Category Manager in the development and delivery of procurement strategies, sourcing events and negotiations to create a sustainable, safe, efficient, and effective supply chain
To promote STW's sustainability and carbon reduction ambitions
To identify contract/commercial risks and ensure clear allocation of risk to the most appropriate party with clear risk mitigation plans in place.
To ensure an effective payment process including the management of supplier disputes

We're looking for someone who has experience in NEC contracts and framework agreements, someone who has strong negotiating and communication skills alongside strong problem solving and analysis skills.
