Our client is well established, successful global company specialising in manufacturing bearings for automobiles, marine engines, construction machinery and general industrial use.

This job role offers fantastic pay rates, permanent contracts, extensive and fully paid induction, generous holiday entitlement and lots more.

Ilminster, Somerset
Permanent, fulltime positions
Basic Hourly rate: £11.00 p/h to £13.50 p/h (DOE)
Double days shift (20% increase): £12.00 p/h to £16.20 p/h
Night shift (33% increase): £13.30 p/h to £17.95 p/h
There are various shift patterns available to suit your needs (mornings, afternoons, nights)

We are looking for various Machine Operators to join a skilled team in a fantastic and nurturing work environment that will encourage and support you to develop fully develop your potential.

Machine Operator job snapshot:

To receive and check materials for production
To set machine in accordance with requirements
To operate a range of engineering manufacturing machinery
To check and ensure quality of product is to standard
To complete records and documentation as required
To maintain good housekeeping standards
To report any concerns to Team Leader / Manager
To ensure an effective handover to following shift where appropriate
To work flexibly as part of the manufacturing team and to support other team members as required
To comply with the company's quality, health & safety and environmental policies and procedures

Ideally, you will have previous experience in any manufacturing environments, you'll be keen to learn and develop new skills, and you'll have a positive outlook on life in general.
