We are recruiting for a Senior Physiotherapist - Rotational who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
This role is within our surgical and respiratory team.We offer excellent opportunities for new and experienced band 6's wanting to enhance their skills. We offer strong professional leadership across the acute therapy service at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust.
Our inpatient service covers Acute Trust rotations at Lister Hospital, Stevenage which includes respiratory care, including on call opportunities; orthopaedics; stroke/hyperacute stroke unit; general medical wards and acute medical assessment.
The main duties of the post include assessment and treatment of patients within the wards at Lister Hospital, supervision and mentoring of non-qualified staff and students, taking part in in-service training, and taking a role in service improvement projects.
You will be the lead physiotherapist on the surgical wards and for the amputee rehabilitation service, including outpatient amputees.
You will be actively involved in the respiratory physiotherapy on-call service to the whole of the Lister Hospital site.
