  • We are a prestigious Asset Management Firm based in W1. We are hiring a talented Front-End Developer for a 612 month assignment. This might be particularly attractive for MEng Computing or Computer Science students / recent graduates. What you'll be doing:


  • Interacting and working with traders, portfolio managers and trade support staff. Understanding their requirements and needs, then translating those requirements into efficient technical solutions.
  • Working on all phases of the software development life cycle (requirements/analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance).
  • Rich Internet Application development, typically involving interactive and realtime data visualization tasks linked to our proprietary quantitative analytics infrastructure.
  • Maintaining a high level of user support and availability to respond to and address user needs.

_Skills/experience:
_

  • Have achieved or be studying for MEng or Computer Science degree
  • Strong knowledge of Java and/or Python
  • Strong understanding of software engineering, algorithms and data structures, distributed systems
  • Strong mathematical and statistical background
