Main function of the job

Key function is the management of the structuring team for Risk and Capital Solutions and Investment Products together with responsibility of structuring and execution of (a) investment products through repack vehicles, WF or third party issuance for WF's relevantinvestor base and (b) the structuring and execution of risk and capital solutions (mainly derivatives based) across asset classes for WF's relevant account base.

The function would involve a strong support to the origination of new transactions and to clients'interaction.

Responsibilities
Risk and Capital Solutions (RCS) provides hedging and other risk and financial resources optimisation solutions to a variety of counterparties including corporates, financial institutions, finance companies, insurers and asset managers (real and smart moneyand private capital)

The Investment Product (IP) group design and structure a variety of investment products and market payouts to satisfy the risk return preferences of a variety of investors:
real money, insurers, pension funds etc.

Works closely with the trading and distribution function to define investors and other counterparties' s requirements and structure products and solutions in line with trading book's appetite.

Ongoing interaction with the internal control functions and strong involvement with the approval process from the business standpoint.

Provides MI and escalates any material matters on an ongoing basis to the EMEA Head of Investment, Financing & Solutions to support the fulfilment of their oversight responsibility as per applicable regulatory requirements.

Responsibility for independently (or as part of a team) working with clients and/or handling transactions.

Individuals at this level have a strong knowledge of the market place & account base and must develop an understanding of the broader firm's productsand services offerings.

Skills and requirements:

Significant knowledge of the financial services industry and established experience in the hedging and risk solutions space as well as the structured investment product arena
Ability to manage a team of experienced professionals and provide mentoring to more junior members of the team
Strong and proven understanding of market and credit risk associated to the derivatives solutions and investment business (including XVA related aspects) and knowledge of the regulatory capital framework. Ability to structure with a focus on risk management.
Understanding of regulatory framework for investments and capital allocation, plus working understanding and familiarity with ALM and related decision making.
Cross asset structuring experience in line with the mandate of the Risk and Capital Solutions and Investment Products mandate
Strong ability to support the origination skills across a diverse client base with experience of diverse client base (Banks, Non-Bank Financial Institutions, Corporates,
Private Equity / Asset Managers).
Fluency in English.
Strong communicator and presenter.
