    Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages

    We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic full-time Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages who is able to teach German or Spanish to A-level, and will offer a second MFL (Spanish or German) to GCSE.

    This presents a wonderful opportunity to benefit from Leicester Grammar School's focus of delivering engaging teaching to instill a passionate interest in your subject within a like-minded department,

    It is preferable that you are able to start in September 2024, however a start in January 2025 can be considered for the right candidate.

    Besides teaching, you would also contribute fully to the pastoral and co-curricular life of the Modern Foreign Languages department and Leicester Grammar School generally.

    A snapshot of our Modern Foreign Languages Department

    The Modern Languages Department consists of six full-time members of staff and two part-time teachers, including the Head and Deputy Head of Modern Languages, plus foreign language assistants in French, Spanish and German. We aim to bring fun to language learning whilst stretching pupils to inspire a global outlook and a passion for foreign language and culture, and as such the results for German, Spanish and French are consistently high at Leicester Grammar School.
