    About the job

    Logistics in Suntory includes warehousing, transport, pallets and forklifts for a total spend of 160m euros per year in all Europe, as well as suppliers and a team of 3 people. You will report to the Logistics Category Manager part of the Industrial Procurement Team (10 people).

    Business partnering on logistics

    You will business partner on logistics for the GB & Spanish markets (ie 65m euros spend), from searching new sourcing, to tendering and embedding strong relationship with the new supplier. You will work closely with European Operations, Finance and Legal teams, developing the specification/brief, negotiating with suppliers, preparing sourcing cases for decision making, contract management but also looking for new opportunities and efficiencies in the categories you will manage, including reducing our carbon footprint to meet 2030 Suntory Group objectives

    Logistics strategy management

    You will maintain and improve an efficient outbound logistics network in continental Europe in collaboration with various cross functional stakeholders.

    With your creative thinking and appetite for understanding the supply chain you will suggest initiatives to increase value creating in the logistics category.

    You will also be the lead of one or two European categories, building the strategic plan, influencing and implementing it, and then monitoring its impacts.

    Performance KPIs, continuous improvement & efficiency

    You will ensure suppliers delivery and service targets are fulfilled, setting up specific procurement & supplier performance KPIs related to the market's specific needs and following up. You will ensure evolution and continuous improvement of such KPIs and develop appropriate action plan with suppliers to drive better efficiency and effective risk management. You will ultimately contribute to driving team efficiency and defining best in class sourcing processes & tools.

    The Procurement team is an international team based in 4 different countries and 7 different locations, with diverse profiles making a very dynamic team with huge opportunities.

  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Team player that thrives in cross cultural teams
  • Purchasing/and or supply chain experience
  • Experience in FMCG
  • Agility and solution driven mindset, always finding new opportunities and curious
  • Excellence communication skills with ability to connect with people at all levels
  • Fluent in English and Spanish; French is a plus
  • Travelling will be involved to be close to the GEMBA
