SF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a niche manufacturing business based in Telford who are looking to recruit a Financial Controller to join the team.

The progression route for this position will be the succession plan to the Finance Director.

You will be a key cog in the finance machine, ensuring robust financial controls, take charge when it comes to statutory submissions as well as be the key business contact with HMRC.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with strong financial controls and stats experience, gained either from practice or industry.

Manage transactional team and have full oversight of ledger management

• Ensure financial processes, systems and controls are robust and operation efficiently
• Tax management including VAT, Corporation Tax, R&D etc)
• Fixed asset maintenance
• Treasury management
• Key point of contact for audit
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Ad hoc duties as required

ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified/Finalist

• Experience producing statutory accounts
• Advanced Excel Skills
