Product Manager (Data & Analytics)
Location:
Hybrid, Peterborough (ideally once a week in the office with some flexibility)
Are you a proven Product Manager and a strong leader? Do you have a product focused mindset? This role offers a great opportunity to set up your own framework and guidance within an agile and cloud environment.
We are looking for a adept Product manager who is comfortable to manage complex products that will break down into multiple projects within our growing team of data and analytics experts.
In this role you will be managing a team of 10 engineers and you willbe responsible for defining, prioritising and managing the feature backlog of our platform's development.
You will be client facing, often meeting with users across the business including Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Procurement, Technical and Marketing.
Workingin partnership with the data and analytics team to scope out what's achievable and create the business case for development.
Overseeing the development phases, working with the engineering teams to take it through development and testing phases into the live environment.
Youwill be a critical part of the business, leading future change and being an integral part of high profile system transformation projects.
What you will be doing;
- Act as a liaison between the business and development teams
- Analyse and transform highlevel business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Defining scope of the sprint and keeping the team aware of progress to complete the planned work
- Recommend procedural and business process workflow changes, improvements, and program modifications to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Understand and anticipate business needs and proactively address them.
- Review and assist with the implementation of system procedures necessitated by the introduction of new products, policy changes, and system software enhancements and maintenance.
What will you bring;:
- Strongpeople management and leadership skills
- Product Management/Product Ownership experience of a data related product/platform
- Ability to consult with clients, understand their needs, challenges and requirements. Relating them back to efficiency and opportunities to evolve a product
- Good knowledge and experience of managing a product roadmap, assessing opportunity, prioritising feature development
- Related degree or professional qualifications in the related field would be highly beneficial
- Solid understanding of multitiered technology solutions with experience in endtoend design and development of comprehensive solutions
- Hands on experience as a technical business/systems analyst with proven ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment
- Experience of Power BI and Azure cloud would be beneficial but not essential
