SupporttheHeadChefinthedaytoday runningofthekitchen
DeputisefortheHeadChefintheirabsence
Supervise all foodpreparation
Help create new recipes and write menus with the Head Chef, producing highqualitydishesbothindesignandtaste
Monitorandcontrolstocklevelsalongwithcorrectstockrotationprocedures
Training and mentoring should come naturally and this is a crucial element of therole
Ensure that the kitchen team comply with all health and safety, food safety andhygienestandards
Responsible for ensuring all kitchen equipment is maintained and used in a safe andcorrect manner
Fosterapositiveand encouragingworkingenvironment betweenteammembers
