    In response to the growing demand and the launch of an exciting new credit card product. We're rapidly expanding the Underwriting team in our Leeds operational centre.

    In this role you will be involved in assessing our clients financial risk associated with extending customer credit and financing.

    You must be passionate about delivering outstanding customer service. Plus be analytical, and detailed orientated.

    You will understand quantitative and qualitative analysis and have previous experience within a Underwriting, Risk or credit analyst position in financial services.

    This role is an opportunity to develop and learn new skills in a fast-paced environment. Full induction training is provided.

    You will work a shift pattern of Early Shifts, Late Shifts and Saturday Shifts between Monday and Saturday each week.

    Early Shift 8:00AM PM.


    Late Shift:
    11:00AM - 20:00PMFull induction training is provided

    Key Responsibilities:
    Evaluate credit applications (through determining affordability, ability to repay, creditworthiness and fraud risk) to approve or decline credit applications to £25KAccurately work customer screening alerts, identifying target matches and clearing false positives and fully investigate fraudulent activity by analyzing all available information including bureau data, contact details, bank account information and identity documents, to reach a decision on whether to lendFollow existing fraud and credit policy/processes, whilst actively seeking out current vulnerabilities, or new ways of identifying fraud in our systems and ways to mitigate theseResponsible for end-to-end investigation of fraud claims with a final outcome which includes speaking with internal and external stakeholders via phone and emailBuild and maintain effective relationships across the business, specifically across Consumer Finance, Credit Risk Analytics, Customer Operations and CollectionsRequirementsAble to think outside the boxIn possession of a high level of numeracyHave some personal loan underwriting experienceHave the ability to read and understand credit bureau data (or the ambition to learn)
