What we offer you?


We will offer you a long-term temporary contract, full-time (Monday - Friday) for one full academic year term-time only, as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in our secondary school in Haringey.

The positions are an ASAP start, with a pay rate of £450-£500 per week. This is a chance for you to gain classroom experience which will lay the essential foundations for your career, whether that is in the education or health and social care world


What to expect?

  • Provide teaching support 1:1 and in small groups
  • To assist with the general pastoral care of students
  • Promote positive values, attitudes, and good pupil behaviour
  • Actively encourage the inclusion of all students to participate in the life and activities of the school.
  • Support the teacher with monitoring progress.
  • Assisting in the planning and learning activities.
  • Support pupils with their educational and social development by modelling positive behaviour and demonstrating high expectations.
  • Promote and reinforce the inclusion, acceptance and integration of all pupils.

What you need?

  • Degree 2:2 or above
  • The ability to work well with children, teachers and parents
  • The attitude to be professional, wellpresented, trustworthy and ethical
  • A positive and motivational attitude with flexible and resourceful thinking
