Jackson Hogg is thrilled to support a well-established manufacturing and fabrication company in their search for a Mechanical Design Engineer.

Our client based in County Durham has over 40 years of experience within the oil & gas and petrochemical sector and helps to provide cost-effective solutions to process plant fabrication.
Essential skills you will possess for this position include:

Experienced Mechanical Design Engineer within Pressure Vessel and Piping Design
Understanding of Process engineering with knowledge of Heat Transfer & Coefficients
Experience in pipe stress analysis and pressure vessel design
Experience in these software suites would be beneficial: PV Elite / Finglow / Unilab Shell
Designing GRE vessels to BS EN (phone number removed):201
We expect that you will have a good knowledge of the relevant codes and manufacturing practice ASME B31.3, B31.1, ASME B16.5/16.47, API 610
PD5500 Specification for unfired fusion welded pressure vessels
BS EN 13445 Unfired Pressure Vessels
