Description

As a Quality Engineer within automotive manufacturing, you will have the opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering high-quality products to the automotive industry. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of various automotive components, working closely with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain quality control measures throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with production, design, and engineering teams to develop and implement quality control procedures for manufacturing processes.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyse production processes to identify opportunities for optimisation and efficiency improvements while maintaining product quality.
• Lead investigations into quality incidents or customer complaints, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, quality control plans, and standard operating procedures.
• Provide training and support to production staff to ensure understanding and adherence to quality standards and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in quality engineering within Electronics / Electrical Manufacturing industry.
• Solid understanding of IPC620 standards.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, tools, and methodologies (e.g., APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, 8D).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
