Operations Finance AssistantSalary – £28,000 - £31,000Location – HertfordshireExciting opportunity to join this innovative food manufacturing business This is an analytical role which supports the Head of Operations Finance in providing meaningful and accurate reporting to the Operations and Supply Chain functions.

The role Produce weekly management reports to assist the Engineering and Technical managers to keep track of their spendComplete the weekly KPI tracker used by the SLT to monitor business performanceSupport the Head of Operations finance in the periodic Management Accounts and S&OP processSupport the Head of Operations finance in the annual Budget processMaintenance and integrity of product costs on SAP and associated bills of material,Development of processes and SAP reporting and controlsSAP training for all new startersCompletion of monthly balance sheet recsYou:
Proven Financial acumen and interest in the sectorGood communication skills and ability to work with non-financial colleaguesStrong attention to detail and a curious natureGood time management skills and the ability to prioritiseThe ability to work as part of cross functional teams and to build strong working relationshipsAble to work in a high pressured environment and meet strict deadlinesDesire and readiness to acquire new knowledge and develop new skillsGood working knowledge and usage of SAP (or equivalent ERP)

Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially Microsoft ExcelQualifications:

Finance experienceExperience of working in a manufacturing environmentDegree educated (or equivalent)Has started a recognised professional qualification from a major UK accountancy body i.e.
