- Manage a large team of Cleaners including 2 supervisors
- Work along side the Facilities Manager to ensure all staffing levels and SLA are delivered on a daily basis
- Deliver all aspects of HR and people processes including on boarding RTW and investigations
- Staff training and development
- Promote excellent communications within all teams
- Process fortnightly payroll
- Carry out regular cleaning audits alongside the Cleaning Supervisors to ensure cleaning standards are high at all times
- Hold regular team meetings with both the day and evening shift
- Experience in a similar position within the cleaning/housekeeping industry
- IT literate, comfortable with email, spreadsheets, and employee databases
- Good planning and organisational skills, and capable of working to tight deadlines
- Excellent people management skills, and able to assist Facilities Manager with any People issues that may arise
- Ability to be flexible to suit customer needs and to cover operations
- Demonstrate good delegation skills
- Ability to direct and motivate a team, leading by example and always demonstrating best practise
