We have a fantastic opportunity for a Catering Assistant to join our team at Westfields, in Swaffham working on a permanent, part-time basis working 19.


75 hours per week across a two-week rota:

  • Week 1: Thurs 08:0014:00 & Fri 08:0018:30
  • Week 2: Tues, Thurs, Sat & Sun 08:0014:00

Main Responsibilities include:


  • Preparing fruit, vegetables and salads for meal services, as well as any other cooking responsibilities directed by the Cook Manager.
  • Maintaining the highest levels of hygiene and cleanliness across the kitchen and service areas.
  • Setting up of services areas and tidying away when service is complete.
  • Providing a helpful and enjoyable mealtime service for all residents delivery an excellent customer service experience.

What we are looking for from you:
Although previous catering experience would be an advantage, our extensive induction and excellent training programmes means that if you enjoy cooking and have a passion for good food, we can help you learn to adapt to a commercial catering environment
