Description
The Placement Support Team are responsible for a wide range of activities relating to the quality & standards of placements and other work-based learning activities; this includes pre-placement approval, checks & documentation, oversight of the placement year, and operational management of specific schemes and activities.
The team also provide information, advice and guidance via the Jobs Hub and Ask a Question.
As a Placement Support Assistant, you'll work flexibly as part of an enthusiastic team dedicated to engaging and supporting students with placements.
You'll proactively manage administrative aspects of placement and work-based learning activities ensuring that data is recorded in a consistent, accurate and timely manner.
We are looking for someone with administrative experience, particularly experience of managing complex records. Experience of providing a professional and efficient customer service is also essential to the role.- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate information carefully to students and placement providers, both verbally and in writing.
- Use their understanding of the services provided to assist students and placement providers.
- Prioritise their own workload effectively.
- Build relationships and liaise with a variety of contacts to disseminate information and support the work of the team.
You'll be on campus 3 days a week with one of those days based at the Jobs Hub.
