    Mechanical Supervisor


    Interested in working onsite in the water industry? I am looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a Tier 1 contractor working in the East London area.

    The perfect applicant will have knowledge and experience working on projects within wastewater or water treatment.

    Freelance


    Rate:
    £350-£400 PAYE


    When:

    ASAP
    Actively supporting the Site Manager to maintain and enforce safety standards required by statute and in accordance with Safety Policies
    Supervising the installation of process packages and field pipework in an water process environment
    Support the design team in the specification of Mechanical systems and general Mechanical design issues
    Providing supervision of Mechanical subcontractors to ensure a high level of H&S and quality and conducting snagging of Mechanical works to ensure compliance with relevant standards
    Controlling work on Mechanical systems.
    Ensuring that routine inspections, testing and maintenance of Mechanical equipment are carried out as required.
    Undertaking regular Mechanical site safety inspections
    Supervise Mechanical subcontractors/Mechanical works ensuring Health & Safety + Environment is exemplar

    Skills Required:
    Thames Water Passport
    Experience working within the Water industry is essential
    Valid Full UK Driving LIcence
    CITB (SMSTS), SSSTS, and/or CSCS qualified for managing safely
