HGV Mechanic – Bishop's Stortford – Permanent Role – City and Guilds level 3 or equivalent qualification ESSENTIAL.

COMPANY VEHICLE SUPPLIED

Shift: Monday to Friday, 9 hours per day ,45 hours per week, between start time flexible with candidate)

Salary: £19ph-£24ph (depending on experience and skills)

Example OTE: £56,160 based on £24ph, working 45 hours per week

Silver Arrow are currently recruiting for an HGV Mechanic to work for our client based in Bishop's Stortford on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an industry leading company, with excellent working conditions and benefits.

Your Role:

• Carry out planned inspections and servicing as and when they occur
• Accurately report and record work done and tests carried out, including immediately reporting any further work required or vehicle faults
• Provide information, maintain records and carry out all duties in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
• Comply with good health and safety practice, all statutory requirements, company policies and standard procedures

What we need from you:

• City & Guilds level 3 in maintenance and repair, or equivalent qualification ESSENTIAL
• Class 2 licence (desirable)
• Competent using diagnostic software
• Irtec qualification (desirable)
• Welding knowledge (desirable)
