    Job Description:

    As a Computer Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers. From coding to cybersecurity, you will deliver engaging lessons that explore the exciting world of computer science. With your expertise and enthusiasm, you will empower students to develop computational thinking skills and thrive in an increasingly technology-driven society.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan and deliver dynamic computer science lessons that cater to students' diverse interests and abilities.
    • Integrate cutting-edge technologies and tools to enhance the learning experience.
    • Foster a collaborative and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered to explore and experiment with coding languages, algorithms, and software applications.
    • Provide personalized support and feedback to students to promote their mastery of computer science concepts.
    • Organize extracurricular activities, hackathons, and coding clubs to further enrich students' learning experiences.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and initiatives that integrate computer science into various subject areas.

    Requirements:

    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Computer Science.
    • Proven experience teaching computer science at the KS3/KS4 level.
    • As a Computer Science Teacher, you need to have strong knowledge of programming languages, algorithms, and computational thinking.
    • Passion for inspiring students and fostering a love for computer science.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
    • Commitment to continuous professional growth and development.
    • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
