Opportunity is around the corner at Pertemps in Lincoln We have a brand-new position available for a hardworking and experienced Welder to join an already successful team.
Our client is based in Lincoln and supply parts globally.As a Fabricator you will be required to:
Perform welding tasks using various welding techniques such as MIG and stick welding according to blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions.
Prepare welding surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and degreasing to ensure proper adhesion and quality of welds.
Set up welding equipment, including selecting appropriate welding tools, gas, and wire, and adjusting settings for optimal welding performance.
Conduct visual inspections of welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Maintain and repair welding equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition and comply with safety standards.
Document work performed, including recording welding parameters, materials used, and any issues encountered during fabrication.Adhere to established deadlines and prioritize tasks to meet project schedules and production targets.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency in the workplace
Salary:
£28,000 + per annum (DOE)
Hours:
Monday to Friday working 3 shifts on a rotational basis.
7AM to 3PM
3PM 11PM
11PM to 7AM
Desirable skills
Background and experience in welding or fabrication
MIG / TIG Welding experience
Sound understanding of Health & Safety
Can work to deadlines.
