You must be customer-orientated and able to work well in this fast pace role.

The business in hand has continued to grow and are a stockist of fastener and M.R.O (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) products suitable for various sectors including; Sheet metal, Construction, Medical, Transport, Energy & other General Engineering environments.


The role involves:


  • Providing Customers with solutions to their Fastener and allied Consumable type product requirements.
  • Selling the companies goods and services through digital communications.
  • Checking in the warehouse for stock of products.
  • You will be making calls to potential customers, demonstrating the product's features, taking orders, processing payments, and informing the customers of the delivery details.
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
  • Building relationships with new customers and closing sales opportunities successfully.

Person specifications:


  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Experience of fastener industry preferred.
  • Good knowledge of engineering products for general engineering purposes is beneficial.
  • Previous sales experience is beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
