Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced AWS Backend Developer with a strong focus on AWS Lambda API services.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about cloud computing, serverless architecture, and automating deployment processes to enhance scalability and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using AWS Lambda and other AWS servicesImplement robust CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processesWork closely with the development team to architect mass distributed Lambda functions for backend API services, ensuring scalability and performanceApply best practices for security, monitoring, and incident response within the AWS ecosystemContribute to the automation of infrastructure provisioning and management processesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements to existing systems and processes

Required Qualifications:
Strong experience with AWS services, especially Lambda, API Gateway, and other serverless technologiesStrong Javascript programming skillsProficient in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Bitbucket Pipelines, AWS CodePipeline)

Familiarity with database usage and management, particularly with MongoDB/DocumentDB to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval for our backend servicesDemonstrable expertise in developing backend API services, with a focus on scalability and distributed systemsSolid understanding of automation tools and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)Ability to troubleshoot and optimise AWS-based applications for performance and costExcellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative team playerBachelor's degree in Computer Science, EngineeringDesirable/Bonus:
