    GBR Recruitment Ltd are exclusively working with a leading engineered products manufacturing business based on the edge of Northamptonshire recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Coordinator (Engineered Manufacturing processes) who is strong in HSE Administration, to help drive forward the Safety, Health & Environmental elements of the business, working on implementing new HSE processes, amending current processes, promoting a safety culture with everyone playing their part in ensuring safety 1st plus putting in place a SHE system working alongside the SMT such as the GM & others.

    This is a fast paced varied interesting role that would suit a HS&E / SHE professional who is working in an SHE, HSE, SHEQ H&SE, HS&E capacity, or similar within a fast paced every changing complex manufacturing facility. You must be IOSH qualified & a NEBOSH qualification would also be beneficial but not a must. Responsible For
    • Assist in the development & roll out of all Safety, Health & Environmental processes in support of the HSE Manager.
    • Ensure on-site Safety, Health & Environmental policies are adhered to.
    • Maintain effective Safety, Health & Environmental Management Systems
    • Completing RAMS for all areas of the operation.
    • Auditing HSE performance v's HSE KPI's along with correct safety behaviours, taking remedial action as required.
    • With SMT, review accident/ near miss and hazard trends.
    • Ensures all accidents are investigated by competent investigators, ensuring root causes have been identified, ensuring that corrective actions have been completed.
    • Monitoring trends in health & safety related incidents.
    • Keep updated on all new SHE legislation
    • Maintain a high level of HSE competency across production / warehousing.
    What We Are Looking For
    • Experienced in a HSE Coordinator / Administrator role, including experience of a complexed engineered / manufactured products environment.
    • IOSH qualification, is a must have
    • NEBOSH is beneficial but not a must (advantageous)
    • Manufacturing / Engineering experience & know how
    • IT competent used to using computerised HSE reporting systems.
    • Able to get teams (all levels) to buy into HSE processes & the reasons for them, selling the benefits of HSE measures to all workers, as everyone is responsible for a safe working environment.
