Job Description:

Project Manager to support the Roadside Technology Manager in the delivery of Technology maintenance aspects of the contract. Travel required to various sites and 1-2 days per week in office.

Project Manager - Roadside Technology

Duties and responsibilities:

Support the Roadside Technology Manager to ensure technology defects are restored within target deadlines, and routine maintenance programmes are delivered to deadline
Ensure technology work is commissioned and certified to the highest quality and to the correct standards
Engagement and procurement of supply chain partners
Keeping all relevant parties informed of progress, equipment condition and key issues
Supporting the Roadside Technology Manager to achieve strategic objectives
Complete site visits in person and auditing of completed works across the range of sites / locations
Offering technical advice to contracts
Identification and review of new technologies that will benefit the business
Implementation of innovative ways of working that introduce efficiencies

Experience and Attributes:

Experience of managing large technology maintenance contracts.
Strong working knowledge of motorway technology equipment.
Experience of working in electronics / communications industry.
Excellent communication skills, and comfortable interacting with clients and at all levels internally.
Demonstrate a highly professional manner.
Able to work independently and act on own initiative.
Travel to various sites / occasional meetings with overnight stays.
